Penny's Planets

A preschool series about a curious kitten astronaut who travels the universe, makes friends, and learns alongside them. Written, designed, and animated end to end through an AI-native studio pipeline — with an interactive companion app, picture books, and merch built off the same world.

In production. Calm for kids, charming for the adults in the room, and built to grow into a franchise.

The show

One planet, one friend, one thing to figure out.

Lessons hide inside the story — counting, words, colors, shapes, animals — never bolted on top. Penny doesn't fix problems, she helps. She doesn't pass tests, she notices things. The show is the spine; the app, books, and merch grow out of the same characters and worlds.

The cast

The friends, planet by planet.

Penny the cat

A curious tuxedo kitten who'd rather see for herself. Her space suit does the heavy lifting — a tap of the chest panel and she can fly, turn invisible, light up the dark, or understand whatever creature she's looking at. The suit is her toolbox; the cat does the rest.

Spelling the Bee

Penny's best friend, roaming the same universe on her own loop. They run into each other on random planets and something small and fun happens — a spelling dare when Penny's not paying attention, a hint when she's stuck, a quiet bit of help when no one else is around. You never quite know which planet she'll turn up on.

The universe

A whole sky to travel.

Penny lives on The Playground — a cat-tower mothership parked in orbit. She takes her carrier down to whichever planet she's visiting that day. The universe is open-ended on purpose: a sandbox of worlds to write into as the show grows.
